Skin and paw care: encourages hair growth in chafi ng areas and on lumps from lying down. In winter protects against soreness from deicing salt and prevents snow from freezing to paw hair.
Ear care: for cleaning the outer ear.
Tail, coat and hoof care: for dissolving crusty deposits. Tail hair will become shiny and loose. The mane is treated in the same way. Paint hooves with BALLISTOL Animal after cleaning.
After-treatment of sores: BALLISTOL Animal works as a high quality care oil on coat and skin making it soft and silky. The oil is therefore superbly suited to after-treatment of sores and to care for and protect new skin and prevent the formation of scars.
Saddle sores and summer eczema: wide-spread summer eczema with horses can be treated in the same way as after-treatment of sores. After acute sores have healed, the skin is kept soft and smooth by applying BALLISTOL Animal and hair growth is encouraged again. In good cases, the pressure sore will have disappeared already the next day. Note: should the skin already be injured and sores are visible, please contact your vet.
